Daniel Hansen

Dr. Hansen is a Board Certified Dermatologist.  He is passionate about dermatology and dermatologic surgery. He practices adult, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology as well as Mohs micrographic surgery.  Originally from northern Utah’s Cache Valley, he graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor’s degree in biology and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.  Dr. Hansen subsequently earned his degree in medicine at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, completing his clinical rotations at the Henry Ford Hospital system in Michigan. His dermatology training was done at the Oakwood Southshore Medical Center, in Trenton, Michigan, a training site of Michigan State University, where he was appointed general medical house officer and served as Chief Resident of dermatology.

Dr. Hansen lectures at local and national meetings, is active in community health education, and has publications in multiple peer-reviewed journals. In addition, he continues to share his extensive training in Medical Dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery, and cosmetic therapies with his patients as well as rotating students. He is an Adjunctive Clinical Professor of Dermatology at A.T. Still University, Tauro College of Osteopathic Medicine – California, and Tauro College of Osteopathic Medicine – Las Vegas.  He is a Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. He is an active member of the American Osteopathic Association and an Associate of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Contact Dermatitis Society.

Dr. Hansen and his wife have five children. They love hiking, skiing, boating, fishing, hunting and just being in the beautiful outdoors. He has enjoyed developing the practice at Northern Utah Dermatology and will continue to bring the most recent advances and cutting-edge treatments to his patients.
